Richard offers services from a simple health check to an extensive overhaul for sliding sash windows; including replacement sashes, repairs, glazing, draught and rattle reduction systems, weight checking, cord replacement,
re-weighting and replacement ironmongery all in sympathy with conservation requirements for listed buildings. Where viable, doors, door frames and casement windows can be overhauled.

Richard offers a design and build service for new work. Starting with a consultation to discuss and agree requirements, Richard then produces drawings and specifications for products before agreeing the contract and starting production. Working on site for smaller repairs or from his workshop for larger rebuilds and new items Richard makes and installs all products himself.

Tailoring to customer’s specific needs, to achieve what is best for each property, Richard has extensive experience of working in his field. He has developed relationships with local historic environment and planning officers and designs windows and doors that satisfy the requirements of the Building Regulations and Grade II Listed Buildings.
